Keith Innes
Indigenous Reintegration & Gladue Aftercare Worker

Keith is Gitxaala from the Northwest Coast of British Columbia, with his home community also known as Kitkatla. He belongs to the Blackfish (Orca) Clan and was raised with the teachings of his parents and grandparents, which have given him a strong cultural foundation.

In his role, Keith provides culturally grounded, trauma-informed case management and reintegration supports for Indigenous clients involved in the justice system. He brings awareness to the impacts of colonization, residential schools, and the Sixties Scoop, highlighting their connection to the overrepresentation of Indigenous peoples in correctional centres.

Keith is deeply committed to fostering change that emphasizes healing, cultural connection, and community support over incarceration.
